Welcome to eEuro Inclusion portal!
This portal gives less widely used less taught (LWULT) languages in Europe a stronger voice by bringing together LWULT Language Resource Centres (LRC) from a large number of European countries. This is necessary if LWULT languages are to contribute fully to the future educational and cultural heritage of Europe. eEuro Inclusion gives LWULT LRCs greater visibility at the European level. The online exchange of knowledge, expertise and experience between LRCs is a first step towards the founding of a pan-European Association of LWULT LRCs.
eEuro Inclusion has two main target groups: LRCs that provide LWULT language services and potential seekers of these services.

- giving you the chance to be constantly updated on what other LRCs, at home or abroad at an hotel Eurodisney Paris, are offering, developing or researching;

Being part of eEuro Inclusion virtual network will enable you to ask for and receive professional advice and support from the other members of the network. It can also inspire you towards developing synergies and partnerships with LRCs that you would not otherwise be aware of. In particular, you can:
- Contribute to and read the “News and Events” section to find out what is going on in your profession.
- Present your offer under “Courses and Resources”.
- Publish your research and read about other specialists’ work on the “Research” page.
- Post and look for a job in the field of LWULT language teaching under “Jobs”.
- Join the “Forum” of discussions in English and any of the LWULT languages.

find a brief description of the LWULT languages currently recognized in Europe by clicking on “Languages”;

join the international discussion and debates on topics relevant to these languages under “Forum”.

The European Union homes approximately 450 million Europeans from many ethnic, cultural and linguistic backgrounds. Apart from English, French, German and Spanish, there are currently 23 less widely used less taught (LWULT) languages officially recognized so far in Europe. Thus, respect for linguistic diversity must be and indeed is one of the European Union’s founding principles. Moreover, as the EU is built around the free movement of its citizens, capital and services, having the linguistic skills to communicate in languages other than just one’s mother tongue has become a basic skill for all Europeans. In this context, focusing only on acquiring widely used languages is not enough.
eEuro Inclusion portal is here to help you identify the best ways to learn the languages listed on the left of the screen. Click on any of them and you will get a glimpse of the richness of the LWULT languages. Hopefully, you will feel encouraged to browse this site to find useful information on the relevant language services available in Europe.

Courses & Other Resources
Here is where you can search the eEuro Inclusion database of Language Resource Centres to find information on the courses offered and the work carried out by LRCs in the LWULT languages in Europe. You can search for courses and resources for any project language in any European country. For instance, you can find out what is available for Icelandic in Bulgaria or for Greek in Spain.
If you represent a Language Resource Centre teaching one or more LWULT European languages and your LRC is not included in the eEuro Inclusion database, you can register and become a member of our network. Registration is free and once your subscription is approved, you will be able to post information about the courses and resources your LRC offers.
Research
If you are a language specialist interested in research conducted in the field of less widely used less taught (LWULT) European languages, this is where you can access our database of relevant materials, which are grouped into several categories:
- articles on LWULT languages in general
- studies on learning and teaching LWULT languages
- materials on how to teach LWULT languages
- articles on different aspects related to teaching professions
- literary works and literary studies
- culture-related materials

You can either browse the categories on the left or you can perform a keyword search of the database.
The materials are searchable full-text, but HAVE to select the language and category.
Jobs
eEuro Inclusion portal provides an updateable database of job offers related to LWULT languages in Europe. Such jobs range from teachers of LWULT languages to experts in language testing and they may be offered by institutes/centres involved in language learning/teaching.
In this section, you may do one of the following:
- if you are looking for a job in a Language Resource Centre, you may search for job offers already existing in the database,
- if you have job offers in your Language Resource Centre, you may add them to the eEuro Inclusion database by posting them on the portal.
News & Events
Here you can find out what is new in relation to promoting/teaching/learning the less widely used less taught (LWULT) languages in Europe. You can get an updated overview of seminars, conferences and forums held in various European countries. You can also find out about major cultural events. If you are a LWULT language student, this is the place for you to learn more about the uniqueness of the language you are interested in. If you are a LWULT language service provider, this is the place for you to keep up with the latest news and to announce relevant events you want to make public.
Depending on what you are interested in finding out, you may either browse the news archive or the events archive. All entries on this page are sorted by date, but events are also organized in upcoming and past events. In all cases you will get a list of headings accompanied by short descriptions. Click on the headings to get the full descriptions.
When you have registered with eEuro Inclusion and you know about news and / or events that are not included in our database, you may post them on the portal at “Suggest News” / “Suggest Events”. Posting news or events will require you to fill out a form containing several fields: heading, date, announcer’s name and contact details, short and full description.
